- Afterlife: Jains will continue to re reborn until their souls reach a state of liberation. This could take many lifetimes.

- Jains believe in 7 levels of Heaven, 7 regions of Earthly realms, and 8 levels of Hell (which become colder as they go down)

Rules:
- A Jain monk must carry a broom with to gently brush insects out of the way so he will not step on them.
- He must wear a cloth over his mouth so he will not harm insects or minute organisms by breathing them in.
